We ARE Bernie's 50-state strategy.

Traditional American politics say if you can sweep all Super Tuesday states, you've already won the nomination. Traditional thinking says that you have to have LARGE money to compete in all 50 states and even the most well-funded candidacy can't afford to go full-bore in all 50 states.

But there's nothing traditional about Bernie's campaign. Bernie doesn't have unlimited money and his top people are only getting paid a salary. They're not getting ad buy percentages because there ARE no ad buys. Yet, this has been, arguably, one of the best-run campaigns I've ever seen and that's because the campaign knew that WE could carry him to the nomination. And we can.

From the beginning, the campaign announced, basically, that they didn't have the time or money to organize us or fund us so it was going to be up to us to pick up the slack. If you've spent more than 45 seconds on social media you know it is BURSTING with people and groups posting their events and ideas for the campaign.

The result is that he's leading in New Hampshire and Iowa, he's in South Carolina and headed for the Super Tuesday states. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY saw this coming.

So, this is it. We need to keep doing what we've been doing. I don't care if your state primary isn't until June, KEEP CAMPAIGNING because if we can keep this campaign alive throughout all 50 states, we can achieve something the "experts" said couldn't possibly happen -- win the Democratic nomination.

primaries don't matter as by the time the primaries get around to their state the decision has already been made by other smaller, non-representative states. (There's a REASON California's primary isn't until June.) That's because smaller states are easier and cheaper to manipulate. I've seen several people saying that their primaries aren't going to count and this was a reminder that this isn't a traditional election and that all states' efforts count this time. It was actually more of a discussion of strategy than a "pep talk."

a lot of support from the people. In that sense every primary counts. Remind every one that we need to let the super-delegates know where the people stand.

Having said that: some hints on how to win super-Tuesday would help.

What can those of us in rural areas do on the internet to help?

Things that have worked for others?

We have some really great ideas out there already - keep them coming.

Oh, and one other item: KEEP DONATING.

We can do it, but it's going to take a lot of effort. That effort is completely worth it though. This is our time to do it.

Getting others to recruit votes for Bernie and instilling in them the absolute necessity in doing so is so important. We need to create the biggest snowball ever.

but it is up to each and every one of us to get out the word. We need to register people for the primaries. Here in NY, that means getting them to register as Democrats by 9 October this year, due to election rules.
We need to keep the heat on, through the primaries, into the general election, and after the election into Bernie's presidency, to make sure that each of the issues of his platform are carried out by our legislators. So not only do we have to keep up the heat on informing people about Bernie, but we have to keep up the heat on our legislators, so that vote in OUR interests, and not those of the corporations.
