The USA Is the Greatest Country in the World?

This link has an amazing set of graphs showing how much USA sucks, compared to most
any other country. This I think is what is compelling Bernie to "go for it", because we've
become an international embarrassment and it needs to change.

7 Indisputable Reasons the United States of America Is the Greatest Country in the World

The charts, etc., explain why I live in Canada. I am a US citizen who happened to own a house on PEI in Canada. When the murdering criminal George W. Bush was re-elected in 2004, my wife and I decided to live full-time in Canada. We became permanent residents in 2007. I have never regretted our decision.

not that I take any pleasure or national pride in doing so, but
still. I looked at moving to Canada same time, same reasons,
but extended family ties kept me in Oregon, for now.

As USA goes, Oregon is one of the better places to be imho.
actually been here most of my life. But I also realize i live in
a progressive bubble that could burst on short notice.

Happy 4th to you & your beloveds.

If you leave, you'll miss helping President Bernie Sanders begin to turn all this crap around?

From what I've seen, looking at non-US places to move, Netherlands sounds
great. Wishing you well in your travels, and that is't all you're hoping for.

don't get the flag near me this 4th of July because I'll probably spit on it!
This nation let my child die from a medical situation that could have been remedied by medication, leaving a 15 yr daughter. Doesn't mean much to you emotionally, you might have a different attitude if it was your child.
This nation needs it common man to put an end to this excuse for the powerful and monied
America is not a great nation only if you are well to do and powerful -otherwise you are quietly told to go to hell you don't matter.

And make a difference, instead of running away. If you don't live here then you don't get to bitch about what is going on here.

Not to mention if I am an ex-patriot, I can still vote, so I can still "bitch."

If I could live in Norway, Denmark or Germany I'd be gone so fast the door would not have time to hit me in the ass on my way out.
One person can do little to change the greed and godless value system of the powerful and wealthy but as a grass roots
of people, I mean many, many people start to wise up and put an end to this system, I doubt if I'd make any impression as an individual.
People have to care about others beside themselves and capitalism unbridled doesn't value human life. I've had an up front and personal experience with how the country values human life if its poor. And she was working...so that old saw about getting to work only benefits the capitalist.
I was thinking this morning....is this why so many common men who were/are soldiers fought and died...so the more "deserving" can afford medical care to be able to live? Why would I want to stay in a nation so morally asleep?
