[SHOCK NY Poll] Clinton: 53% - Sanders: 47%

Here we come. One month ago, we were down 48 points in New York. With just two days to go until the primary, we’ve cut the lead in Hillary Clinton’s home state all the way down to six.

Gravis Poll - New York Democratic Primary
Hillary Clinton: 53%
Bernie Sanders: 47%

Here’s the truth: we don’t have to win New York on Tuesday, but we have to pick up a lot of delegates. This poll shows that if we keep fighting, we may actually have a chance to do both. It’d be the most shocking upset in modern political history. That’s why we have to ask:

You’ve already made a $50 contribution to Bernie’s campaign. If you match that, right now, we can win New York, win this primary, the White House, and take our country back from the billionaire class.

The political establishment was already in shock when last week’s debate in Brooklyn ended with the crowd chanting Bernie! Bernie! Bernie! after Bernie’s closing statement. On Hillary Clinton’s home turf! Can you imagine their panic if we do well on Tuesday night? And we can, but only if we keep fighting against the millionaires and billionaires funding Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

In solidarity,

Jeff Weaver

These stats seem to have excluded undecideds.

I've expected this for quite some time.

Michigan was more shocking an upset than Bernie winning NY would be.

It would be hard to beat Cantor going down a couple of years ago for most shocking upset. That was something like a 40-point spread that vanished virtually overnight.

Looks like Huffpost and RCP have even stopped using it, if they ever did (I think they did, but could be wrong there).

I don't want all of us to feel shattered if Bernie doesn't win New York. It is an uphill battle and the odds are against us, so let's hope for the best but not count on it!

I think we need a win in NY because a loss puts him further back in the delegate lead and will increase the amount he needs in later primaries. I do believe if we don't keep it in single digits it will be a large problem. What is possible and probable are two different things.

I just made another donation and hoping we get good news on Tuesday.

Hundreds of New York state voters to file suit calling the closed primary 'a threat to our democratic system' after claiming their party affiliation mysteriously changed

This could suddenly open up the primary voting. If they did, Bernie would win.
