Very important to all of us here. Please pass it on.

Huge voter registration problems are plaguing states with closed primaries, leading to allegations of election fraud around the country. People who said they were previously registered Democrat or Republican suddenly found their registrations inactive or their party affiliations dropped, and now they cant vote in their primary. These problems were a big issue in Arizona, and now theyre being seen in New York, California, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and more.
Many people are concerned election fraud is happening, but others think it could be widespread clerical errors. Either way, the problem is affecting peoples ability to vote. Is your voter registration affected, too?

(3,040 posts)People in power want to stay in power and those that run the system want to keep their chosen few in power . Those in power have no regard for the voters, they only care about getting elected and then, after they leave office, they only care about receiving their million dollar lobbying jobs.
I wouldn't be surprised if all of these are just trial runs for the GE to see if they can get away with wiping people's names off the list of registered voters.
Remember all of us here are politically aware, so we know to check and see if we are still registered etc. The average person after an 8 hour work shift will not care enough to fight it after they find out they can't vote and will just give up.

(1,615 posts)i am not so sanguine. judging from the rather nasty and underhanded way clinton has tried to undercut sanders so far, i wouldn't put this mess past her.
THIS is why people are bernie or bust. not because clinton is so awful (she's actually kind of okay).

(15,735 posts)Hillary and who contributed to Bernie, it is just really to simple to create a query to located every voter who had "D" for the party and if that person in the DNC database shows contribution to Bernie then change the affiliation to independent or what ever item is appropriate. I would make it change only 1 out of every 100 so it would not look that bad.
