he needs a landslide in NY. That's bull, isn't it? He was back by how much before? Plus, they're now saying "he has an outside chance" of winning NY.

(17,064 posts)If he wins by 10 points he makes a pretty good dent inClintons pledged delegate lead. Any win at all and he keeps up the momentum. Even if he loses he's still in the contest till the convention. Neither candidate will have 2383 pledged delegates.

(36,063 posts)I do think a win for Sanders in NY would make her early wins look distant.
Even a tie in NY would is a push for Sanders going into PA.
At the same time, the media has been wanting to proclaim Sanders definitively beaten since super-Tuesday and a loss even a virtual tie keeps that dream alive for the pro-corporatists.

(41,600 posts)A close election in NY will be DEVASTATING to her campaign. If Bernie beats her, that's 9 out of the last 10 primaries and caucuses - he'll have even more momentum going into PA. and will win there - knock-out punches will be Oregon and CA.
