Standing in line about 4 blocks from the door to the Bernie event. Doors open at 11, it starts at 1. Big excitement when the Westboro group showed up. There is a guy walking around giving free hugs (NOT from Westboro) ♡

4. There is a 60's vibe here.

It is unmistakable. Honking, cheering, babies and little kids with parents. Peace and love man. Big mix of people. Standing here with my fake grey hair and my cane because of a bad hip I got a nice arm squeeze by a volunteer as she walked by thanking me for coming out, interesting but nice and while I was writing this a lady with real grey hair grabbed me with a huge grin on her face and said, "Grandma's for Bernie am I right?" Lol.
