Bernie Sanders
Related: About this forumI finally got banned from the HRC group.
I've been really neutral until someone said something about Bernie and his revolution not happening with him. I stated that it would be great if someone would lead a revolution...nixed.
Badge of honor I say, badge of honor.

(3,128 posts)As I have said when I was banned: Soon the Hillary Group will be 3 or 4 lonely people in a dark corner of DU, their backs against each other, ready to fend of everyone but no one will be there. We will all be over at the Bernie Group!

(13,863 posts)I think there are probably more banned people than members of the Hillary Group.
you just took the wind out of my sails. I got banned on my very first post, and all I did was refer to the fact that HC took corporate contributions and that she would be in debt to such powers.
So another exclusive club escapes me.

(10,622 posts)I think any post that does not praise her is a bannable offense. How (while being just an honest and polite poster) did you last as long as you did, one usually must be a superfan to be allowed to post there.

(22,000 posts)I ended up trash canning it (along with another forum). It's too bad that doesn't stop threads from those groups coming up on the front page.

(41,694 posts)"I consider it an honor and a privilege to be banned by your group"
got a really snarky reply to my post that got me banned right after that.

(14,689 posts)The ironic thing is that the Host who banned me is on record as eviscerating Clinton in previous election cycles.
Just look at the people who host that group and what they say about us here on DU and at other sites. They are not worth your time debating.

(10,056 posts)Accident in that I posted to that group at all.
Apparently permanently trashing it does not remove it from the home page.
Oh well. Such is life.

their ideas really can't survive outside of the Groups' cosseted playpens
notice that they never respond to their posts because that'd mean putting their ideas on the line and admitting there can be a challenge
