When an organization that operated with donated funds (and gov't funds) and worked to better the lives and welfare of all persons decides to involve themselves in politics (generally for self-preservation as opposed to expanding their impact to improves lives) and grows to evolve an "arm" that solicits political donations to ensures it existence (a lobbyist organization) - yeah, it is now part of the establishment.

I reserve the right to judge whether or not that organization is worthy of my money.

Edit:

when PP recreated themselves in the likeness of the NRA, I'm hard pressed to defend them as an organization. But, I'll always be an advocate for autonomy, education, and informed consent.
