On this day, December 27, 1901, Marlene Dietrich was born.
Film star Marlene Dietrich was #BornOnThisDay, Dec. 27, 1901. Remembered for her humanitarian efforts during WW II, helping refugees & providing morale on the front lines for USA soldiers. Received the Medal of Freedom in 1947. Passed in 1992 (age 90). #RIP #LGBTQ #LesbianFreedom
