Retired Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens has a new book out, in which he proposes six potential amendments to the Constitution.
His 6th re. the 2nd Amendment;
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms when serving in the Militia shall not be infringed."

Too bad it won't happen. An injection of centrist judges however, could revise recent precedent.

"Too bad it won't happen. An injection of centrist judges however, could revise recent precedent." The current 5-4 right-wing majority in the SCOTUS has set this country back several decades with their radical neoconservative rulings -- including the appointment of GWB as president, Citizens United, and Heller.

Only when we can level the playing field with more Liberal and Centrist appointees will extremist political influence and corruption be removed from the highest court in the land.
