Related: About this forumFacebook share problem?
the box from FB (not the share button on DU, but the text box you write in) does not open at a level on the screen that allows me to hit the share button. Only the text box shows at the bottom of the page. I cannot drag it up....

(2,122 posts)I can like posts, and they will appear on my FB page, but I can not publish my comment. The window opened by the "Like" button is stuck halfway under the comments section of the page, exposing the text box, but leaving the share/cancel buttons inaccessible. I have seen this on rare occasion at other sites, but it happens every time I attempt to share DU OP's on FB

(10,440 posts)It would make sense tht so many threads have no likes...
How do we fix it?

(2,122 posts)The page elements are layed out in layers. The facebook dropdown initiated by clicking the "like" button lies below the DU comments layer, hence, the bug. I would suspect that short OP which have larger open spaces created by the advertisements on the right side of the OP layer would not have the same problem because the FB dropdown does not extend down the layer far enough to to be caught under the comment layer below.

(1 post)I am new here and considering your talking about Facebook I don't know if any of you heard, ISP's will now be issuing a six strike law similar to what they have in France which is a Three Strikes your out internet law. What this means is if you upload or download a Youtube video or just a file and your ISP deems that to be copyright infringement you will get a strike on your service and after the Sixth Strike there is a possibility you will lose all service completely and should you decide to contest your ISP's decision for any strike YOU WILL HAVE TO FORK UP $35.00 even if its your ISP's mistake. The ISP's that will be apart of this Six Strike Law include AT&T, Cablevision Systems, Comcast, Time Warner Cable and Verizon and remember you could be just downloading a file on CNET and your ISP if it decides can deem you a copyright infringer and take away your internet service.

Unfortunately it is the White House and President Obama who is forcing these 5 internet companies to put the Six Strike law into effect however if Gov Romney gets the White House this Six Strike law could be used for Political Purposes to shut down opposition Free Speech and that goes both ways for Republicans.
There is a petition to sign from Progressive Group Demand Progress to stop ISP's from Issuing the Six Strike law and you as well can call your ISP and tell them if they issue this Six Strike law YOU WILL CANCEL THERE SERVICE. Here is the petition PLEASE SIGN IT.

Let your ISP's know if they issue a Six Strike law YOU WILL DROP THEM and go with an internet service provider that is not on board with spying on there internet users. Purely and simply this is wrong and President Obama while I feel he is a good President has to realize that the internet is the only real place Progressives can get there message across and GOD FORBID MR I hate 47% of Americans Mitt "RICH BOY" Romney gets it this will be a perfect tool to silence FREE SPEECH online and all Romney has to tell the ISP's is to say Copyright infringement and make you the Customer pay $35.00 to dispute it. Truth be told I DON'T WANT MY ISP SPYING ON ME. Please Tweet and Facebook Demand Progresses Petition to stop ISP's from implementing a Six Strike Law online. Let's keep the internet Free and Open for all.
THANKS.
