Not bitching about this website. You've done an amazing job with the coding. It's just that the link button didn't work on this post:

(8,543 posts)... which seems to make the DU3 software have a sad. You can replace the colon with [font color="#000066"]%3A[/font] (the url encode equivalent) and it should work. Like this:
[div style="margin-left:1em;"][font color="#000066"][link:http://thegrio.com/2012/09/10/new-angela-davis-documentary-brings-life-of-revolutionary-to-big-screen/#s[font style="color:#ffffff; background-color:#3333cc;"]%3A[/font]angela-davis-and-the-smiths|your text here][/font]
This isn't actually a new bug, I have a thread about the issues with links and the [link] tag.

(11,700 posts)The unedited version of that post had imbedded links that didn't show up at all. It was just text with no blue hyperlinks. I'm sure that's been fixed.

(8,543 posts)Based on the text of your original post without edits, it looks like you tried to embed the link with the colon as the text 'new documentary'. Because of the bug with DU3 not handling some characters in the [link] tag properly, that link and the text 'new documentary' completely disappeared from your post.
A strange quirk of that bug is that all of the uses of the [link] tag after the "broken" one will often disappear from the post as well - which is what I believe happened in that post. Here is what I think you intended your post to look like:
[div class="excerpt" style="margin-left:1em; border: 1px solid #bfbfbf; border-radius:0.4615em;"][font size="4"]Serena Williams, Angela Davis and W. Kamau Bell: This week in Black Awesomeness[/font][div style="width:100%; height:0.4615em; border-bottom: 1px dotted #666666"]

New Angela Davis documentary premieres at Toronto Film Festival.
Willow and Jaden Smith joined their parents at the 2012 Toronto Film Festival for the premiere of the new documentary on Angela Daviss life, Free Angela and All Political Prisoners, which is being produced by Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith and Jay-Z.
The film was directed by Shola Lynch who produced the 2004 documentary, Chisholm 72:
Unbought & Unbossed, about Congresswoman Shirley Chisholms historic 1972 run for president of the United States.
Watch the trailer for Free Angela and All Political Prisoners below.
Theres also a great interview with Shola Lynch about the upcoming documentary over at Ebony, where she discusses Angela Daviss reaction to the film and what she learned while making the film.

And the code:

All I did was change the colon in the first embedded link to %3A to make it all work.
