I just got my first hide
and I have to admit I'm not sure why, since I was just making a joke about atomickitten's post above me. I was certainly not making a racist joke. So why was AK's post not hidden but mine was? I guess it doesn't really matter...I suspect I've had a lot of people just waiting for a post they could alert on.
I do accept the hide and will not address it further, however...I lost the page the alerted me of it before I could read it all. I tried finding it again, but can't. Is there a way I can retrieve that information? I'd like to see what was said about it, and what the following instructions were about my posting privileges.

(8,175 posts)Is there a way to retrieve the alert info I got?
Also, one more question. I tried to find TOS to see if that would explain it, and apparently it's only found with a search function? Is there some reason it's not a sticky type thread somewhere that is easy to find on the home page?

(8,976 posts)Someone saw your post and didn't connect it to Atomic Kittens....they saw a fairly new guy posing something that seemed to denigrate black women. And then a jury went ahead without reading the thread for context and you got zapped. It ain't the end of the world. As a new guy they cut you no slack as they might have for an old timer here. For future reference, until you're a little better known you might want to label replies like this with a sarcasm smilie...

(8,175 posts)but I still want to know what the text in the alert said about my posting privileges. I know it said I could no longer post in that thread but I didn't make it any further than that before I lost it. Also I cannot find any info on penalties for hides in the TOS.
