Maybe she is alive and wants to mind her own business and have others do the same.

I certainly hope so.

A Phoenix arose. No one's business but, her own.
Meant to reply above. Agreeing with you.

Just weeping.

All those beautiful young people.

I knew sex workers have a high suicide/ overdose/ murder rate-- but the numbers are very hard to quantify because of the fluid nature of sex work.

God, why can't we just love one another without destructive objectification?

The AIDS victims particularly hurt, because of the story I've told many times before-- when I was a young runaway, I hung out with many male prostitutes--there were a few who worked in porn. Years later I ran into an old friend who told me "I think you and I are the last ones left"

During the 80's, I lost nearly every friend I had from that earlier time to AIDS--every one. I remember seeing Karposi's Sarcoma for the first time on a young man I was very close too and nearly sexually involved with. (I instead got involved with my oldest daughters father-- another male prostitute, but he had left that behind and stuck with petty crime; of note, he was turning tricks at 13 years of age, neither one of us realized he was a victim of rape and pedophile's)

I didn't know what was until years later. He was covered in lesions. His beauty gone forever.

I also didn't realize for years how much that affected me,; and I can only imagine what it was like for Gay men and boys losing so many, so young, so beautiful.

Intelligence. Must watch the other one to see just how free and intelligent they are.
