Arrest Warrant for Julian Assange

This is the second arrest warrant, issued on Nov 1, 2010 and still valid. It proves false the Assange defenders claims that charges have been dropped. The issue of formal charges in Swedish law is dealt with by the UK Supreme Court in this legal ruling.
http://www.bailii.org/uk/cases/UKSC/2012/22.html

The International Arrest Warrant for Julian Assange

There are four allegations as set out in box (e) of the warrant:
1.
On 13th – 14th August 2010, in the home of the injured party in Stockholm, Assange, by using violence, forced the injured party to endure his restricting her freedom of movement. The violence consisted in a firm hold of the injured party’s arms and a forceful spreading of her legs whilst lying on top of her and with his body weight preventing her from moving or shifting.
2.
On 13th – 14th August 2010, in the home of the injured party in Stockholm, Assange deliberately molested the injured party by acting in a manner designed to violate her sexual integrity. Assange, who was aware that it was the expressed wish of the injured party and a prerequisite of sexual intercourse that a condom be used, consummated unprotected sexual intercourse with her without her knowledge.
3.
On 18th August 2010 or on any of the days before or after that date, in the home of the injured party in Stockholm, Assange deliberately molested the injured party by acting in a manner designed to violate her sexual integrity i.e. lying next to her and pressing his naked, erect penis to her body.
4.
On 17th August 2010, in the home of the injured party in Enkoping, Assange deliberately consummated sexual intercourse with her by improperly exploiting that she, due to sleep, was in a helpless state.
It is an aggravating circumstance that Assange, who was aware that it was the expressed wish of the injured party and a prerequisite of sexual intercourse that a condom be used, still consummated unprotected sexual intercourse with her. The sexual act was designed to violate the injured party’s sexual integrity.

The framework list is ticked for “Rape”. This is a reference to an allegation 4. The other three allegations are
described in box (e) II using the same wording as set out above.

That I was ignoring the US extradition order. Didn't I pay attention to all those legal rulings? The extradition order is to Sweden, not the US. The person didn't know this most basic fact, despite an OP with information and links to primary documents showing the chronology of the investigation and nature of all legal proceedings regarding Assange.

In the arrest warrant. The really are not even slightly interested in the facts. People plug their ears. It reminds me of how the right is on global climate change, birtherism, anything they don't want to believe.

If one's argument requires refusing to deal with documentary evidence, something is seriously wrong.

17. Are you a relative newcomer to the Assange flamefests?

The whole case kinda flew under my radar until he fled to the embassy last summer, and provoked an interesting diplomatic situation. The threads back then were pretty much the same, (and camps had clearly been drawn up for some time already) with the Assange defenders just flat out ignoring anything to do with inconveniences like Swedish legal procedure, or the findings of the UK extradition court, while spinning fantasies about how the US would go to any lengths to get their dirty hands on him, but can somehow only do so by maneuvering him into a Swedish prison. (and yes, with the occasional detours into calling the women lying sluts.)

I liked your OP in General. It will probably help to steer newcomers away from some of the more blatant myths that the Assange fanclub promote, but the prolific posters in those threads won't be swayed by reason ever.

Portrait of a Framing, the Case of Wikileaks Julian Assange

Ardin has written and published on her blog a “revenge instruction”, describing how to commit a complete character assassination to legally destroy a person who “should be punished for what he did”. If the offence was of a sexual nature, the revenge also must also be sex-related, she wrote. Ardin was involved in Gender Studies in Uppsala University, in charge of gender equality in the Students’ Union, a junior inquisitor of sorts.

In other words, she was perfect for the job. In order to frame Julian in Singapore, they would have to fit him up with drugs. To frame Julian in England, they might have to report he had skinned and roasted cats or at least dumped a kitten in a trash bin. To hang a frame on Julian in Sweden only required reporting sex between consenting adults.

If the setup was so perfect, why did it fail? Overreach, as always. When Anna Ardin maneuvered the younger girl into assisting her in her revenge, she overreached herself. When the girl withdrew her report, Anna’s “deceit equals rape” accusation failed. However, this is just conjecture, and the true facts of the case lie deep in the vaults of the Expressen.

6. funny, you dispute charges Assange himself doesn't

Do you agree a man has a right to have sex with an on conscious woman and it's perfectly okay? Assange doesn't dispute the counts in the arrest warrant. He just says there is nothing wrong with what he did. Do women never have the right to decide whether and when they have sex? Or is it only important men who don't need to worry about consent?

Non-Surprise: Assange’s Accuser Linked To CIA
...
Julian Assange’s chief accuser in Sweden has a significant history of work with anti-Castro groups, at least one of which is US funded and openly supported by a former CIA agent convicted in the mass murder of seventy three Cubans on an airliner he was involved in blowing up.

This is a feminist group that treats women as equal human beings.
The fact you found some misogynist who blames victims tells me nothing but who you are. We get it. You aren't interested even in what Assange has said. I'm not interested in hearing your excuses for ANY rapist. Take your bullshit elsewhere.

7. OMG. a professor in gender studies

A feminist, someone who actually believes women are human beings with equal rights. Clearly that must be a conspiracy. Anyone who believes women have basic human rights has no business being allowed to accuse someone as great as Assange. Someone needs to show her and the rest of us mouthy women how meaningless our lives are. Who are women to think they actually have a right to control their own bodies? What is the world coming to when it's just not safe to rape anymore?

Or is that supposed to be enough to convince me that women who accuse great men, or think they have a right to decide whom they have sex with, are worthless?

15. Here's a shocker. When a woman consents to sex once, it doesn't mean a man doesn't need to ask her
Thu Dec 12, 2013, 08:00 PM
Dec 2013

consent again and can violate her in her sleep. I know. I know. Women exist in a continually state of consent. If she's asleep she can't say no, so who cares what's done to her.

The fact you can't even write a sentence of your own or respond to any questions is hardly in your favor. That you found some victim smearing online to repost here says nothing other than what you are. You've made that clear. Now take your crap somewhere where rape victims are devalued. That's not this room.
