How To Start A Facebook Debate....

One of the longest thread I've ever had on Facebook started with this:

So I was traveling over the weekend and stopped by this restaurant where the menu said, “Our burgers are 100% meat.” I thought that seemed a little weird, so when the waiter came over I said, “So what kind of 'meat' do you put in your burgers?” He said that the restaurant was dedicated to the principles of providing a high quality meal at a reasonable price.

“That’s great,” I said, “But what kind of meat do you put in your burgers?” And the waiter said the the restaurant is committed to the principles of keeping prices reasonable while serving high quality food.

“You’re not answering my question,” I said. “What kind of meat is in your burger?”

“If you just order the burger,” the waiter said, “I’ll tell you what kind of meat’s in there.”

“Why not tell me now?" I said. "I want to know before I bite into something.” And the waiter repeated the line about quality food and low prices.

“So you’re not going to tell me what’s in your meat?” I asked.

“No,” said the waiter, “not until you buy one.”

If you’d buy a burger under those circumstances, then you’d probably vote for Romney, too.

Now I don't know if that meant I fooled her into thinking it was a true story, or that she disagrees with me about Romney.

Could be pink slime, horse, kangaroo, or most any animal.

Remember the meat in "Fried Green Tomatoes?"
