2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumI've been working with the Sanders campaign
since mid-July and this is what I can tell you. This man is running an honest campaign. There has not been a hint of subterfuge, or dishonesty, or a win-at-all-costs zeitgeist -- it is and has been exactly what you see. Above board. Honest. Above reproach. If it was anything else I would have been out of here at the first hint of sleaze. Sanders recently got the CWA and DFA endorsements and celebrated their 2 millionth donation and not a word from the bought-and-paid for press. Now, all of a sudden, they're writing about Sanders. One day before the debate.
The DNC, however, has scheduled the least amount of debates it could get away with and at times ensuring the FEWEST people would be watching. The fact that the Sanders campaign INFORMED THE DNC that their third-party vendor had lax security weeks ago, and this is, one day before the debates, being released to the press BY THE DNC is more than suspicious. It's business as usual for the Vichy Dem wing of the Democratic Party. You will know them by their works.

(41,600 posts)Or his supporters. We know her modus operandi. We're voting for Bernie, no matter what. He's the most honest and ETHICAL politician running for president. DWS can shove her fake scandals where the sun doesn't shine and the CORRUPT CORPORATE OWNED MSM can kiss my arse.

Sanders campaign accesses Clinton data, gets suspended from party voter files

.............The New York Times said the staffer was the campaign data director. Searches were run from four user accounts while data from Clinton's campaign was exposed, the Times said. But it's difficult to say what that means, since one person could have had more than one user account.
The Sanders campaign will remain suspended until it provides the DNC with a full explanation of the episode and provides proof that any accessed data has been discarded. ................

(9,497 posts)It isn't like having state emails on his server and we all know how everyone in camp weathervane thought it was a non story.
I would hazard to guess, if h makes the nomination, don't expect a lot of Bernie supporters to get in line.

I believe the DNC is playing dirty now, and quite frankly it will hurt them.

(70,092 posts)You can not blame that on the DNC. It was good that the Sanders camp fired this director--.

(88,117 posts)And can't wait to see how that will help her win.
Sometimes integrity keeps showing through even when attacked.
Let them go for it. Then see if you can count on Bernie supporters later on.

(8,462 posts)The DNC should have the logs from the system to know who did exactly what. Instead they ask the Bernie campaign what happened? Seems very odd to me.
But if I do a search for X and the system displays the entire alphabet because the system administrators are that bad, do you blame the users?
the vendor should be fired if they can't handle the job of properly running and maintaining the system.

(14,923 posts)Would you happen to know who in the DNC has the authority to suspend or cut off the Bernie Campaign from the national partys voter data?
Le Taz Hot
(22,271 posts)something I don't think was done or it would have been announced, the only person with the authority to suspend access is DWS. Goddess, this was sloppy. If you're going to engage in this kind of crap, you damned well better be good at it or it's going to blow back on you which is exactly what's happening. Social media is on fire and it's all coming back on the DNC and DWS.

(12,152 posts)how databases and computer networks function, this will be presented and consumed as "Sanders campaign steals Clinton data." Any attempt to discuss the technical reality of how and why this occurred will make most people's eyes glaze over.
I hope I'm proven wrong.

Emanuel who?), a little bit of the blue-collars (I hate TPP so much, you guys), a lot of Republicans (that Trump's silly, isn't he?) and bada bing the poker chips all pile up until you hit that 264-vote mark
