I honestly believe something fishy is going on with Rasmussen

The daily tracking poll.

Something's off. Notice that his poll is a 3 day moving average, so it's supposed to be more volatile than Gallup.

Yet it's only after Gallup (a 7 day moving average) made some huge moves that Rasmussen began showing a bounce for Obama. Before the huge swing in Gallup, Ras tracking poll was moving 1 point here and there. And Gallup's approval rating (3 day moving average) made a huge swing in a couple of days.

Then and only AFTER Gallup had that huge swing in approval rating and the huge swing in the tracking poll, did Rasmussen show any kind of movement.

Wouldn't you expect Rasmussen to show a bounce before Gallup since it's a 3 day moving average?

I honestly think there's some fraud going on. Especially when you look at the polling Rasmussen did of Missouri around the time of Akin's comments

it's a Republican shop run by well known Republican asshole Scott Rasmussen. He always has really skewed polls and tries to tighten them up a bit as the election gets closer.

A pretty good explanation of his bias is shown here:

You don't get invited to speak unless you are producing news conservatives like.

Remember this FACT, anytime you view a (R)asmussen poll.

It was PPP that was caught fudging the data to keep Akin in the race. They had him up one when other polls (including Ras ) had McCaskill up 9 or 10 right after his comments on rape. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2012/senate/mo/missouri_senate_akin_vs_mccaskill-2079.html#polls

Both Rasmussen and Gallup are known right-leaning polls, have been for years, so for Gallup to show a Dem convention bounce of 3-5 percent, it's probably much more. And the President is probably farther ahead than the 1 or 2 percent they've been foisting off on us. But that said, we have to keep working hard until election day because of the multi-fronted voter suppression tactics the repugs are pursuing.

But then as an election day gets closer, he tries to seem legitimate and so he tries actual polling. So his #'s look like this. He is so obvious.
