Between this and the new farmer ad I'd say he's going for an older crowd and those outside the democratic party

"worked with John McCain".
What the hell has Hillary done for mentally and physically wounded veterans other than create them. |

28. Love it, because of what they did.
Despite criticisms of Bernie fans, we aren't raving lunatics as y'all might make out.
Principled, pragmatic, effective. I think Bernie is all those things, and I value those things. I like Bernie because he stands for something, he doesn't switch his position all the time for political expediency, and I feel I can really count on him to stand for the things I hold dear (at least in most part - nobody's perfect for anyone else). I not only like Bernie Sanders, I love Bernie Sanders for President. |

30. It's well known to his base -- and needed to pass legislation
In 2008, HRC made a point that she and McCain drank Vodka together in Russia --- and that was touted by the NYT as how she was well liked by her peers.

Maybe you should go on YouTube and search for a video of Bernie talking about ISIS.

6. all he talks about
is what the Muslim countries should do.
Does he know that the Muslim countries have very different and competing strategic objectives? Does he think that the US should not be taking a lead in the fight against ISIS? |

12. Oh yes, the US should lead the fight against ISIS -- so the defense industry can make tons of money
and members of our military can spend more time in harm's way. Vote for Hillary? I am actually kind of astonished that she has such a be-tough-at-all-costs mean streak. She sounds like Dick Cheney.

24. Well now Bernie certainly brought home to VT the MIC F-35
Reached right in that War Funding Bill he voted for and grabbed a big old chunk of MIC Contracts for himself.
The very same Contracts that Wall St investors all flocked to. Bernie was againt the War for profit until He grabbed a chunk of change for himself. Profit before people 30% Bernie's in that gig as deep as the rest. Shall we discuss guns? Immigration? Just because Bernie won't talk about it doesn't mean it never happened. |

27. And ultimately that is what all the wars are about
It's not so much about protecting the nation as feeding the big machine. Aren't many truly self defense wars like WWII anymore. And Bernie never said that he would want all fighter jets banned. I don't post much on DU now because even the positive threads get smears. And my support of Bernie isn't going to be influenced.
Will support Hillary against the Repuke - we absolutely can't afford a Repuke President. Trump is a fascist! |

19. Why exactly should the US be leading the fight
Against a Muslim terrorist organization fighting a conflict against Muslims in a number of Muslim nations? It's one thing to support allies against the threat posed, but why this desire to 'lead the fight'?
As for Muslim countries competing strategic objectives, as long as they know that the US will fight the battle for them, they don't need to find compromise and solutions locally. How does this end exactly? Where is the resolution to the whole mess, when we back the extremists in Saudi Arabia who are funding much of the extremist in the area? |

11. No, that's the top-ranked concern of the media currently
Too many Americans are too busy worrying if they've got enough gas in the car to make it to work the entire week, enough money on their snap card to make it till the next month, if they can afford that trip to the Dr. because the cough is getting worse, hoping winter isn't too cold so the heating bill doesn't get out of hand.
Too many Americans don't have the luxury of worrying about ISIS. Hell, they don't have the luxury of worry. They just take it day by day existing. |
