Related: About this forumBernie wins the nomination if the majority of women and people of color begin supporting him
I wonder how right wing memes against Hillary, bashing feminism, calling her supporters "low information voters" is going to help Bernie win.
I'm not seeing it.
I have posted many, many times about how much I agree with Bernie, like his stands and appreciate his pragmatic realism. I think he can only win if his supporters treat Hillary with the respect that her broad and wide support in the party has earned her.
By calling her and her supporters names, it is a way of saying their support is not valid, not valuable, etc.
Do you want their votes to go to Bernie or not?
(Note: I am a supporter of Hillary, an admirer of Bernie, and not ashamed)

(30,481 posts)Gore wins if he drew more difference between he and republicans.
Gore wins if he fought it to the end like many wanted.
Gore wins if he would have embraced Clinton.
Gore won.
He would have won handily if he would have ran a better campaign. There is a long list of reasons why he didn't have even more of a lead. There is no one reason. Nader supporters were a big part of it.

(16,350 posts)I support Bernie but I have no need to demean HRC supporters. That would be dumb. I have read that there are sh&t stirrers posting on various boards for the sole purpose of driving a wedge between Democrats. I try to just ignore that garbage.

(39,215 posts)issues, three candidates that support equality and civil rights. So these issues should not sway the vote between these three candidates.
What I as a woman with a mixed race family am mostly concerned about is the direction our economic is taking. This is the issue that should be of concern to everyone.
I have grandsons and daughters who are draft age - I do not want to spend more money on wars they may have to fight in the future just so we can sustain our oil usage.
I have a whole family that is just surviving economically and cannot afford to go to college. I do not want safety net programs to be privatized so the rich can get richer.
I do not want my family to end up under the thumb of corporations in the future and I am not in favor of using the poor people (mostly people of color) of other countries to work for cents a day so I can live in luxury.
I do not want private prisons and or militarized police forces that only protect the rich.
We have some real problems that we are all facing but we also have some problems that our candidates all agree on.
Now what we have to look at is those issues that they DO NOT agree on.
