Nina Turner is right on. I love how she keeps her thoughts together and remain highly passionate and emotional at the same time. She is the best speaker on this subject as I've heard. She doesn't pull any punches.

When the Republican BOE chair in Franklin County (where the state capital is located) proudly states that the restricted voting hours are targeting African-American voters, why shouldn't she be on fire? I'm on fire. Frankly, every Ohioan should be on fire. Ohio looked like the biggest state of slimeballs in 2004. We cleaned up our act, and under Jennifer Brunner things were going pretty well. In 2008, early voting worked really well.

So why should Rethuglicans do ANYTHING to make it easier for the people to have a voice in the government??? Let's suppress the vote because that's the only way (apparently) Rethuglicans can continue to control the government. It is just so damned hateful, and I am so sick of it.

When I contacted Husted to let him know what I thought of what was going on, I told that Ohio was getting national attention again ... and not in a good way.
