(18,115 posts)He's not perfect. Not in his positions or I his style, but he is direct. I always enjoyed watching him on Charlie rose discussing the partition of Iraq, which never happened.
I hope he runs and steals SC from Hillary.

(10,044 posts)no matter what faults of his they "reveal," none can be worse or more serious than "their" candidates, whoever that might be.
Bernie would not bash Joe. The only thing he would mention is that he did not vote for the Iraq war, and both Clinton and Biden did..but we already knew that.

(36,063 posts)in 2008 I had the same problem with Hillary haters. Haters for Hillary or Haters of Hillary.
There always seems to be evidence of both.

Joe has a couple of skeletons in the closet, and the doors been open for awhile. Been no reason to really talk about the bones, but if he comes into the kitchen; watch out.

(46,179 posts)Are you saying there are a bunch of "Biden Bashers" about to join DU to bash Biden?
Are you worried that Biden will receive the same treatment that other "major" candidates do at DU?
I'm not sure what your real "concern" is.
For the record, I have little to say about Biden. Just as I have little to say about Clinton. Neither of them generate any interest or support on my part. I'm happy for Biden to split Clinton's support, though.

(30,481 posts)But I wouldn't call what I have seen bashing. Some have brought forward some pretty good points about his past positions that would make all of us a little uncomfortable. As far as du goes, I think he will be respected overall but some of his positions will be royally trashed. Unlike Clinton, people will keep it about policy and not make it as personal(bashing).
