Related: About this forumI would gladly support Clinton OR Sanders OR Biden OR O'Malley
Anyone who says any one of them wouldn't be great candidates and be honest leaders of the Democratic Party is full of shit.
(did I spell 0'Malley right?)

(15,225 posts)I think this is an important post considering all of the infighting here.
We all need to remember that of all of the candidates, there will ultimately be ONE that we will need to support to keep from having another Republican disaster.

(72,790 posts)No to Biden and Clinton.
As far as my support, that's where I stand.
Sure, Biden and Clinton would be better than any R, but I am looking for new direction from this party, and I do not want the same recycled candidates to run again and again and again. Eight years (at the end of his term) is enough of Biden, imo. As far as Hillary is concerned, she's a stale candidate to me, nothing about her excites me.

(14,524 posts)....settle for "better than crazy and evil". This time I don't have to. It requires more than letter behind someone's name for me to support them. It requires they have a proven history of being on the side of the 99%.
Period.

(54,129 posts)But yes, even whichever bete noir you're voting against next year in the primaries would bring only marginally different reforms compared to those of whichever paladin you're supporting in the primaries. Democracy really tends to get middling results from among the disparate desires of the electorate.
