You do realize there are always a bunch of perennial, sometimes crackpot candidates who file to run for the nomination. Thus far, we officially have these three:

Jeff Boss, a 9/11 Truther from New Jersey who has run in every race conceivable for the past decade or so.

Robby Wells, a former football coach from Savannah State who ran for president before on the Constitution Party and then Reform Party tickets.

Willie Wilson, a successful businessman from Chicago (owns several McDonalds) who ran for mayor of Chicago.

Do you feel these folks need to be in the debates as well? Should we fill the stage with every other person who decides to file for the presidential nomination of the Democratic Party? Should we have a clown car, too?

We're going to have several Republican debates between now and October 13th. There will be a ton of gaffes in those GOP debates considering the number of candidates we are talking about. And the folks participating in the Democratic debates will thus have a lot of Republican silliness to be able to talk about.

So that means anyone liking this limitation on debates is out of touch.

I have seen arguments against raising the minimum wage that use similar logical tenor.
