What we learned today about where Hillary stands on TRADE!

Follow the $. McCaskill endorsed Obama in 08 as he raised a boatload of $. McCaskill endorsed Hillary two years ago when Hillary was raising $, and a lot of it from Wall St etc.

McCaskill votes PRO trade. Turns around in the same week and goes after a anti-TTP voice in US Senate running for POTUS.

Reasonable conclusion is Hillary won't say she is pro-trade, but McCaskill just said it for her.

from me and you and everyone else to do better by workers ie slaves and everyone would make HUGE PROFITS!

Profit unless it is attached to someone with some insight into life and the future is the same to me as the n-word is to other people when applied to corporations. She is a bag carrier for rich people, nothing more, nothing less. Read her announcement speech. Its right there.

I doubt that the media will ever ask her to explain
that she was for it before she was against it.

"He would like to see Medicare for all in this country," McCaskill said, adding that Sanders "would like to see expansion of entitlement." She further argued that Sanders is "not worried about a debt at all. He is somebody who is, I think, frankly, against trade. Against a lot of things in this day and age."

The tactic of the people who've sold out is to claim those opposed to the TPP are isolationists who don't believe in trade with other countries AT ALL which is an argument worthy of a Republican.

I have a post about how vulnerable she is if the TPP can't come up for Final Vote until the Middle of the Primaries next year or just before the Election..

This is a huge issue. She needs to be held accountable. But, what if she RECANTS...says Bill supporting NAFTA was the worst moment of her Life!

Will we...should we......believe her?

And repeat a lot of what he said in the Senate which is on video at this link from Senator Merkley's site. He doesn't hold anything back on how he feels about how it will hurt the middle class, and it is obvious from his statement that both he and his staff have studied this bill carefully!

http://www.merkley.senate.gov/news/press-releases/merkley-statement-on-senate-passage-of-fast-track

Of course the media doesn't say too much about his position on this, or even how he feels about the Supreme Court rulings the last few days that seem obviously timed to distract us from these sorts of messages from his!

But they the media HAVE been talking about Senator Wyden's stances on the Supreme Court rulings like these two official announcements... I wonder why they focus on wall to wall speeches by Obama and WYDEN, and not Merkley in these cases? HMMM!! Who needs "image repair" this week! The corporate world knows how to take care of their surrogates I guess!

No, I didn't see any coverage of that and your two Wyden quotes do show he's trying to repair his Lib Dem Image. And repairing that image gets more attention than an honest, heartfelt floor speech (giving numbers, details of the job losses and consequences of the past trade deals) and what he expects to see from TPP if it passes which could be worse. I like that he mentions "American Sovereignty of Laws" because I still hope that if the TPP passes that Lawsuits follow from Labor, Environmental and other Lib Dem Allies who will take it all the way to the Supreme Court so that TPP will be hung up past the 6 years that Obama got and is giving to another President who could either be a Dem or Repub.

The last resort is the Federal Courts and we can see with the ACA and the new ruling on Legalizing Gay Marriage that if you keep your Grassroots and you keep at it....eventually a movement can win. I'd like to see lawsuits against the "Citizens United" Decision....(so far none I know of) but, maybe there's even a way to tie that into the TPP if the Final Up or Down Vote seals the deal. When Corporations wrote the TPP in Secret then it ties back into the Rights that Supremes Gave those Corporations that can buy Senate and House Votes and they were emboldened to push for MORE. I know that TPP was "in the works" before "Citizens United Decision" but, still it ties together, imho. Or, maybe a case could be made to show how their influence in elections elected those who would push for Corporate Rule over the Rights of the People of the USA.

Anyway....thanks for the Video and Links.
