Walker bragging he'll do to the country what he did to Wisconsin

It's a nightmare scenario. Just as he's done twice to the state of Wisconsin, Walker would make sweeping, radical changes immediately after taking office. If you can list every right wing fantasy of what Republican extremists would like to do to the federal government, you'll still be surprised by what Walker will come up with. He won't campaign on the extremist agenda, but it will be ready to go and he'll blindside the country with it if he wins the Presidency and has a Republican Senate and House.

...We took on the public employee unions and won. We have no collective bargaining; we have no seniority or tenure. We can hire and fire based on merit. We can pay based on performance. We can put the best and the brightest in our classrooms. We took on, just recently, the full spectrum–not just for public employees, but for every worker in the state [who] now has the freedom to choose whether they want to be in a Labor Union or not. We cut taxes by two billion dollars. Property taxes are lower today than they were four years ago and by 2016, they will be lower than they were in December 2010. We lowered taxes on income, on property, on employers; we reigned in frivolous spending; we defunded Planned Parenthood; we passed a photo requirement to vote in the State of Wisconsin; and we passed castle doctrine and concealed carry.

You go down the line–there is not a common sense conservative forum in America, at least at the state level, that we haven’t taken action on in the State of Wisconsin. Why do I say that? It isn’t a brag list as much as to your question, to me, when I say we should come in and talk about fundamentally moving power from the federal government to the states, and education, and transportation, and Medicaid and social service and other agencies. When people say that is pretty tremendously aggressive and vicious reform out there I say: been there, done that. We’ve done that. We have to do it early.

His Wisconsin audition for the White House was successful, meaning he will have so much money behind him for 2016 he could actually win. He's completely sold out the people of Wisconsin to every right wing billionaire he could find, and it's paying off for him.

During the campaign Walker portrayed himself as the underdog, claiming he was being outspent by his opponent. As with much of what he says, it turned out to be a lie:

"Newly filed reports show Republican Gov. Scott Walker raised $30.4 million and spent $32.4 million in the last six months of 2013 and all of 2014. That’s nearly twice the roughly $17 million raised and spent during this 18-month period by his unsuccessful Democratic challenger, Mary Burke."

Not be accusatory, but this "3 time winner" is a right wing comment that comes up in every discussion about this creep.

There are a variety of reason he won the 2 regular elections. The primary of which was money and weak opponents and low turnout. the recall was more recall fatigue (cheeseheads have a trusting fault of fair play).

The point I tried to make and was missed: His approval rating is plummeting now in state as people, led by independents, flee his camp.

Low turnout was NOT helped, btw, by the odious & highly unconstitutional voter ID laws put into place by Wisconsin and other states.

23. Walker has spent 4 years pimping out Wisconsin to billionaires
Thu Mar 12, 2015, 01:37 PM
Mar 2015

That's all he has done since being elected in 2010 and now he is ready for his pay day. Most of the electorate gets their understanding of politics through the lens of the bought and paid for corporate media. And the billionaires Walker sold Wisconsin to are the ones who can influence that corporate media enough to get this soulless man elected. It worked in Wisconsin- he easily outspent his Democratic opponent almost two-to-one, and that made the difference. A Walker win is possible, and so is our descent into outright fascism.

This state is nothing more than a vehicle to be used getting from point A to point B (point B, of course, being the Republican nomination).

Does anybody here doubt that if Walker was to show up at an Iowa-Wisconsin football or basketball game in Iowa City that he would don some Hawkeye gear in order to grab a few more caucus supporters? That's an allegory, of course to how he really views us and our neighbors to the southwest.

Well maybe Dubya...

But there is truly something wrong with Walker. I think he's a sociopath and everything about him is subservient to his pathological ambition. There is nothing honest or empathetic about him- he's dangerous.

We have to understand...right wingers aren't voting for walker, they are voting for Jesus Christ, Ronald Reagan's sexy memories, and the not democratic party...
