Senate Democrats: We Will Fight For Women

Senators Patty Murray (D-WY) and Mark Udall (D-CO) have decided to stand up and fight for women’s reproductive rights by drafting a bill that would override the Supreme Court’s recent ruling on contraceptive coverage.

The bill, which could reach the senate floor by early next week, would make sure that women had insurance coverage for birth control, even if their for-profit employers had religious objections. It would require these corporations to pay for all 20 types of contraceptives, along with other preventative health measures, covered under the Affordable Care Act.

“Your health care decisions are not your boss’s business,” said Sen. Murray. “Since the Supreme Court decided it will not protect women’s access to health care, I will.”

The legislation asserts that the Court’s ruling was discriminatory against female employees and employers “shall not deny coverage of a specific health care item or service” where coverage is required under federal law. The withstanding exemption for churches and places of worship would still apply.

Yesterday Democrat Diane Feinstein of California passed out of the Senate Intelligence Committee S. 2519: National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center Act of 2014 or CISA. This is a Cyber Security bill that will allow your ISP to give out personal information to law enforcement or whoever including Texts, E-Mails, Social Security Numbers, Financial Information and destroy all privacy rights online and your ISP if CISA passes the Senate will be given immunity. This bill S.2519 will also end Net Neutrality.

There are petitions already going out to stop CISA or S.2519.

Now this bill will destroy Privacy online. Now here is the deal, the sad fact is Senator Feinstein a woman who should understand civil rights and understand the needs for privacy instead is pushing an Anti Privacy online bill that could put you on a list on Cyber Terrorist for copying and pasting a New York Times piece on this forum and the Times can have an easy time getting your information from the ISP you are associated with and can even send law enforcement to your house because you may have copied and pasted a New York Times piece against the dumb elephant Republicans!!!

This CISA could also effect undocumented workers who write to there families using Text or e-mails. Remember the FBI and Government have unlimited access to your information and your ISP or internet service provider can give away your information and NEVER have to worry about lawsuits.

Women like Senator Feinstein should understand Civil Rights, but it seems some Democrats just play out there beliefs in Civil Rights. We need to push not just women's rights but the new challenge Privacy rights online.
