Related: About this forumCNN: Would you please limit talking heads from talking over each other?
I'm interested in what people have to say but the babble of concurrent comments doesn't work.
So, I switch to the Food Channel, which I like to listen to as I cook. Or some kitchen dancing music on the radio feeds. And there's a baseball game on in a bit.

(1,135 posts)It was so bad, I couldn't catch a phrase or enough to know what the H any of them were trying to say. I gave up and never looked back. It was much too frustrating.
It is also big pet peeve of mine. Not just for the lack of hearing anything correctly, but because it's usually so damned rude.
I refuse to watch anyone who talks loudly over another to drown them out. Especially a guy who does it, over a woman. I saw Grayson do it to Karen Finny and lost a lot of respect for him as a person for his condescending tone with her, as well as his loud talking over her. No one is that "special".... Sorry.
That also includes Tweety.

Which limits it to quite a small number of shows!

(5,105 posts)The technique goes completely against the unwritten rules of polite conversation, and caught a lot of Dems off guard. The repigs no doubt teach it to their minions.
