Amazing …
Met a conservative (non) fox watching, tea-party supporting, small business (that survives on 75+% governmental contracts) owning, the government cant do anything right golf-buddy for drinks last night. As usual, the discussion turned to politics, specifically, all the scandals that President Obama is facing.
I was completely expecting him to declare the scandals are actually scandals; but he surprised me when he launched into a CT that I thought was just to wacky, even for him
I guess he has left fox for alexjones/infowars (wait
arent they pretty much the same these days?)
Here is his theory:
All of the scandals were a part of a larger plan to get the American people to NOT trust the media! You see
each of these scandals was reported by the media as the absolute and complete truth; then, little by little, as more information was dripped out, the scandals proved ridiculous.
So now the public (left and right) has been/is conditioned to wait for more information (all coming from the government) before forming an opinion. IOW, the media reports something as the absolute truth, we believe it/form an opinion on it/get out-raged by it; then, the government proves the media reports wrong, and we have egg on our face for believing the media reports.
Now heres the really wacky part
This was all done because the government knew this NSA/Snowden thing was coming out
So part of the public just doesnt trust the media reporting (the government wins), others of us (having learned from the other scandals are willing to believe the government because the media has proven so unreliable (government wins), and the rest of us are waiting to decide what the facts are (government wins).
I fear we are in for some very dark days.
