He may have to get an ignition lock that analyses his breath before allowing vehicle to start! A rule in VA but not in Idaho, he would have never faced public announcement of his drinking and driving, probably happened before there.

And, though you won't find this in ANY newspaper in Idaho, lawmakers from that state will receive ethics training!!! LOL!!

And just to make sure they never have to do this again, the Idaho State legislature wants to make sure citizens can't file ethics complaints against them:

Update:
Even worse than having been at a holiday party where he might have inadvertently been drinking as a fluke, he says he was at home drinking which implies that he does that regularly...

So he is chronic drinker... and that's a big no-no for people of his "faith".

(86,609 posts)I was a resident of Idaho at the time that happened and we didn't have a good Sen/constituent relationship. He and the former Gov/Sen/Sec of State/now lobbyist hated me and knew me on sight. Most of we Idahoans that weren't fond of him refer to him as Senator Wide-Stance.

(86,609 posts)He plead "no contest" and was sentenced to 1 year suspended license and a whopping $250 fine. Of course now we taxpayers will be providing him with unlimited livery/chauffeur services. He's such a schmuck... and a well practiced liar. I've caught him in the act and blasted him in several news outlets when he was new to the Senate. He spent the next three days issuing counter statements.
