Sometimes I do love Chris Matthews

He shut the mic off of Steve Cortez, Trump surrogate, and then when he wouldn't answer his question about why Trump keeps talking about a rigged election. When Cortez started talking about something else, he muttered, "Here he goes."
Then he set him up and asked him what Hillary meant about about open borders, and when Cortez "explained" he said, "You can understand that plain English, why can't you understand the words Trump says about rigged elections?" Then he closed the segment.
He does hate bullshitters. The only one he likes is Conway.

I think both he and Rachel were fond on Conway in the past, so it is almost as if they feel sorry for her.

Rachel did say Conway and Rudy sounded nuts last night with Matthews questioned them in the spin room. Chris did a great job pushing them to say absurd things as they tried to rationalize Trump saying he wouldn't accept the results of the election

You can use it to access clips of television programmes at political websites as well as places like YOUTUBE, as well as watch some shows streaming, online.

I rather doubt the poster "posted a review of something (she) didn't watch." Perhaps she went to a debate/Al Smith watch party? Or spends time at a neighbor's, and watches there?

But asking doesn't hurt--why not ask instead of accuse?

Or not.

It's obvious to me that your goal here is not to discuss politics with like-minded Democrats; every post you have made is decidedly unfriendly and insulting to people who might like to sit down after a hard days' work and watch a little television. What you call "propaganda" is what most of us call "opinion" and we are sharp enough to pick, choose and refuse what comments we agree with and which ones we feel are horseshit. We don't need the admonitions of "The Tingler" to tell us what to watch or how to think. I find it terribly amusing though, that you have named yourself, perhaps unknowingly, after the very object of your animus. Chris Matthews was the object of much amusement on account of his tingle, most of us know, and many still call him by the name you have chosen.

Since you don't like TV, maybe you'll enjoy a little light reading. It's a easy piece, very simple to understand.

I didn't watch him in the 90's so I can't speak to that. But he was going after Cheney and Bush about the7 words in the SOTU, who can forget that old southern democrat who challenged him to a duel. He went after Bush on Iraq and swift boating on Kerry. And in this season he was talking about open/closed primaries, and let us not forget who first took Trump down with women (remember Trump's comments about punishing women who have abortions in the CM interview. He has his moments and he has his downfalls both. He doesn't like boring steady politicians so he's hard on Clinton. Furthermore, I was utterly pissed the other night with the post debate commentary. He kept on stepping on Joy Reed every single time she started to speak.

I like something about Hardball.. it's hard to describe. The set, graphics... something feels... warm/comfortable/familiar. I guess I should give CM some credit for that, but he does make me cringe sometimes. He's noticeably bad at reading the teleprompter, skips words sometimes "MSBC" instead of "MSNBC," etc., frequently interrupts guests that are actually trying to answer the question he just asked.

My husband, however, has stated twice in the past month that he finds him annoying when I've had Hardball on. I haven't dug on why yet..

I have no idea how his brain works, he'll play hardline anti-bullshitter in one moment then buy the whole bag of shit hook and line a few seconds later. I think mostly his goal is to interject his own ego into every situation and the truth is pretty much irrelevant.

Now perhaps Curt, will accuse Chris of "egging him on" -- isn't that the new excuse when a Republican mouths off?

The way his brain works is to produce a controversial and topical show that people talk about. I think he is succeeding on that measure. Where else can you find someone being challenged to a DUEL on cable television?
