Someone please tell me what was the point of this story.
To show just how ugly and stupid the people of this town are?
The reporter acted as frightened as the one person who voted for
Obama at the basketball game. What an Idiot!!!! Nice Job CNN!!!!

(39,370 posts)But that was good enough for 3.4%. There were 144 votes in the whole county.
Romney failed to get a single vote in 59 districts in Philly. You'll never see a story there though, even though those voters are much more significant in number and have far more rational reasons for their choice.

CNN went to a county that was over 94 percent white in the state of Texas. CNN does not believe unlikely voters matter. They don't vote. They went where they could find the most likely voters. Now if they went to where they could find some unlikely voters, it would probably favor President Obama and dislike Romney. Guess what, President Obama won the election. I guess CNN better do some soul searching like the GOP. They are out of step with America. Their likely voter models includes rightwing extremists.

(2,480 posts)There are some interesting things out there if you look for them.
Several old forts from the buffalo soldier days. There is one that is popular with astronomers from all over because the nights are so clear.
We used to stop at the little towns to check them out. Lots of vintage shops with great prices.
We aren't white and the people were always nice to us. Of course they might just be polite.
Rick Perry's hometown is just down the road from here.
But I'd never want to live in the area. Too desolate.

It's disguised as a sort of pulse of the nation bullshit piece.
I have sent so many complaints to CNN this election season I'm sure they
block my emails. They are desperate for ratings and so will stoop to airing junk
journalism. Just pathetic.

How about go to the 21st ward in the city of Chicago, where Obama won 99.29% of the vote (Romney got 0.54 percent of the vote). I'd like to see that interview.
(Overall in the city of Chicago, Obama got 83.99% of the vote.)
