I still say all the other (R) candidates half-assed it running for the nomination...

...allowing Trump be the nominee - because NONE of them wanted to be the guy who lost to a woman.

They just seriously underestimated what a cockup this whole thing would turn out to be.

This much is almost certain: when Trump loses this November, his horde of mouth breathers are going to accuse him of exactly that.

Since all are incapable of self-reflection, they'll blame everyone but themselves (the "Demoncrats," the librul media, the GOP establishment). Someone posted here today a poll showing that even after the recent scandals, tRump still has support of 88% of his voter base. They'll all be back for a rematch in 2020.

Trump is just the most blatent Rethug around. They are all in it for their own spheres of influence, which is why the Anyone But Trump movement failed. Cruz and Kasich were serving their donors and their own egos.
