A wash.

2. PBS says first 20 minutes to GOP, but lost the rest.
Kaine won on points; Pence won on style.

9. Interesting...
I thought it was Kane quoting Trump and Pence denying Trump said what Trump said.

4. "Nothing lost"
Good. In the final analysis, I don't think it will make a huge difference.
So I don't have to listen to the endless dissections of who won/who lost, etc. on TV Except maybe Lawrence ![]() |

6. Kaine won
Pence did very well for himself, but could not defend Trump at all.
Kaine spoke to the swing voters a lot more. Kaine made more lasting points. |

17. I agree. I think Pence was stronger than Trump
But people don't decide who to vote for based on the VP.

8. The NBC talking heads sound like they're giving it to Kaine.
They are all saying that even though Kaine interrupted and some may find that off-putting, he went after Donald time and time again - leaving Pence unable to defend his running mate.
That's the cream that will rise to the top. |

18. Kaine was especially good on a women's right to choose & I also liked when he listed Trump quotes
Pence continually shaking his head over statements everyone knew as true made him seem like an ever bigger liar than Trump. Pence (another sociopath) talking about being a Christian and getting on his knees to pray each day (forgive me God, for I have lied)- give me a break!

13. Not so sure.
After the fact checking and analysis of the debate it will become clear that pence pretty much lied every time he denied having said something or Trump having said something .

14. Kaine won with "Why can't you trust women to make decisions for themselves"
I think that will be take away from this debate. I think that helped with the women's vote and will resound with them.

15. "nothing lost"? No. tRump lost. Pence had no defence. Hillary gained lists of accomplishments.
Kaine was very good. Pence was tough, but Kaine had the edge. And Kaine had the better finish.

16. Agreed.
It was very back on forth on who I thought was doing better. It won't matter, VP debates don't move the needle unless you have a complete disaster like Palin involved.

But I think it was essentially a draw.
