He would be an easier target that Kaine. There is enough misogyny in America to make a woman getting elected a larger lift than it should be. Teaming her with a self identified Socialist may well have sunk the ticket. And do not get excited, I like Socialist but I am not most Americans.

Plus he is needed in the Senate.

I might have actually felt sorry for Pence (well, not really) by the time Joe was done with him.

Pence did NOT help Trump at all. Kaine pointed out the scandals and negatives. It was mostly a tie but if any camp benefits it will be Clinton/Kaine.
