(11,949 posts)He would be an easier target that Kaine. There is enough misogyny in America to make a woman getting elected a larger lift than it should be. Teaming her with a self identified Socialist may well have sunk the ticket. And do not get excited, I like Socialist but I am not most Americans.
Plus he is needed in the Senate.

(2,056 posts)Pence did NOT help Trump at all. Kaine pointed out the scandals and negatives. It was mostly a tie but if any camp benefits it will be Clinton/Kaine.
