The sickest thing I have heard in a while was uttered by Joy Reid today after a conversation she had with a friend of hers.

She said:

"If Donald Trump were to become president of the United States pretty soon that model for winning is going to catch on. And pretty soon you're gonna have mayor Donald Trumps, and Governor Donald Trumps, and Judge Donald Trumps, and District Attorney Donald Trumps. You're gonna have his ideology proliferate throughout our governmental system right down to where it could actually impact you and I individually in the cities in which we live."

1. Even if he doesn't win Trumpism will survive in some form.

The GOP as we knew has crumbled before our eyes. There is a split between Trumpism and Reaganism, which was the basis for the party for decades. There really is no going back from this. A similar split (between nationalists and conservatives) on the right has occurred all throughout Europe as well.

Nothing succeeds like success. If he succeeds in November, he'll spawn more mini-me's in politics than rush limbaugh's hate radio success begat hundreds of rush-clones and wannabes from coast to coast.

We have to get everybody possible to vote! That's the only way this cancer can be prevented from metastasizing all over the country.
