What do you want to bet old Lester does NOT ask this question

When this nitemare began, my first conversation was: How can a person who has never held a public elected office in 70 years just skip to the front of the line and run for the highest office in the land? That is nuts. Want to bet this does not come up tonite?

He won the republican primary under the same rules as everyone else.

My response would be along these lines...
"What do you mean by skip to the front of the line? Who decides the order of this line? The wealthy? The party elites? Do certain people feel entitled to the office of the presidency?"

And I think that would score real well in an election year which has been quite anti-establishment.
