by the rich people in NYC he wants to be accepted by.

As politicians, the Clinton's will glad hand potential donors or those who have donated in the past. I doubt they actually socialize with him as a friend.

Both Clinton's are extremely smart policy wonks. Smart people with a deep interest in policy, current events, history, and other such topics do NOT enjoy conversing with and hanging out with ignorant, incurious narcissists who don't read and have no ability to discuss anything that does not involve stroking their insatiable ego.

I think HRC would rather eat sawdust than spend time in Trump's company--but politicians have to make nice with donors and potential donors, since we've allowed our political system to depend so heavily on raising enormous sums of money to have any hope of winning office.

Her hugging Bush at a funeral betrayed a lot of immaturity on those trying to make hay with those images. by high school people should outgrow the notion That you can or should avoid everyone you have conflicts with. Childish and counter productive
