It's time to put them back on their heels...say these two words when they bring up email

Valerie Plame.

I am in a VERY red section of a blue state...I am constantly going 'round and 'round with these folks. Tell them they *already* didn't get outraged and demand justice when there REALLY WAS classified information at risk...they don't get to feign outrage now.

It works fabulously well (about 3 debates shut down so far) so I thought I'd share.

How quickly we all forget that the disclosure put CIA assets at risk and may have caused deaths.

With the State Dept, Pentagon, and WH getting hacked, I suspect the private server was safer than these antiquated govt systems.

And not talk to, converse, or engage in political discourse with someone who supports Donald Trump.

It's not worth my time as merely their support for him proves to me that they don't have the intellectual capacity to have a rational argument with.

Kick them (metaphorically, of course) where it hurts.

Use the one Trump admitted to, lying to the IRS about the $25,000 bribe to Pam Bondi and paying a fine for doing so, an admission of guilt.
Then, be sure to say, #OrangeIsTheNewOrange You,know, as a kicker.

I would say Bondi personally. More relevant and neutralizes attacks on the Clinton Foundation.

18. But leaking Plame's identity ...
Fri Sep 9, 2016, 11:41 AM

... endangered her and her family, endangered other operatives she had associated with while she was under cover, endangered innocent people she had associated with who might have then been accused of being spies, and genuinely put state secrets at risk. And all for a political angle/payback agenda.

That is infinitely worse - i.e., more risky - than maintaining a private email server, and the point is that if any republican was NOT outraged by the Plame incident, then they have zero credibility for any opinion on HRC's emails based on National Security concerns. They don't really care about security - they want to pile on Hillary. I think it's a BETTER analogy/talking point than the Bondi-gate scandal.

16. Intelligence assets reportedly died due to this leak
Fri Sep 9, 2016, 11:20 AM

What everyone conveniently ignores on the Republican side is that this leak outed a deep cover agent and reportedly may have led to the deaths of some of our intelligence assets.

Whether that rises to the level of treason or not is up for discussion. But Scooter Libby did go to jail over it.

Clinton has been exhaustively investigated and the emails that are being obsessed over reportedly involved things that shouldn't have been deemed classified.

Oh, and no CIA agents were outed and no intelligence assets died.

You could follow up Valerie Plame with Alberto Gonzalez/Karl Rove... Remember that one? And then there's the well known fact that Dubya had his own server and so, apparently, did Colin Powell and Dick Cheney. Etcetera, etcetera.

How relative their morals are when it is someone from the other party. Moral relativism indeed.

17. Karl Rove destroyed 22 million emails

Here's a PBS link on the subject. No one has a memory any more.

http://www.pbs.org/weta/washingtonweek/web-video/missing-white-house-emails

Plus, no one in the media corrects any Republican Liar when they say HRC deleted thousands of emails and mishandled
"thousands" of classified emails. It was 3 EMAILS WITHOUT THE CORRECT CLASSIFICATION HEADERS!!!!!. In fact, they have all since been "unclassified". They all sit there with their thumbs up you know what and let them continue to lie, lie, lie. Remember, if you tell the lie often enough, it becomes the truth that people believe. I have grown children with government security clearances to handle classified/secret/top secret information. There is a protocol for this and I don't believe that any news person has ever even seen something like that. No one pushes back with this and it's become disgraceful that we can't even have responsible journalism. What they don't seem to realize is the first thing that Trump will do is exactly what any dictator will do and that is to cut off any pretense of a free press. They are contributing to their demise. Obviously they have forgotten Pastor Martin Niemöller warning:

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
