KID ROCK, OTHERS REACT TO OBAMA RE-ELECTION

Kid Rock has responded to the re-election of President Barack Obama, who won a second term in the White House on Tuesday (November 6th) after decisively beating Republican challenger Mitt Romney. While Rock endorsed Romney and campaigned with him, Rock told us he believes everyone should put the campaign behind them and see what happens next: "I think it's okay to disagree, to move forward -- now that we've elected our president -- to move forward, give him a shot, you know, and if you don't agree in four years, we'll be able to do this process again. And so many people have died to protect that, that I think it's important to be involved in some way."

Especially since Kid Rock is from Detroit.

I've read some interesting articles about Kid Rock in the last couple of years, he does a LOT for his beloved Detroit, free concerts, benefits, that sort of thing.
He's actually a decent person IMHO.

our youth culture.

Yes, I know that's an unpopular position amongst Libertarians, but any REAL Libertarian would disavow DEPENDENCE of any kind as slavery and that would especially include the dependence of one cohort of relatively healthy functional persons upon the politically active and destructive behaviors of dysfunctional substance slaves of any type.

needs to give that advice to Boehner and McConnell. The problem all along has been their obstructionist tactics. The President can't get his Policies as long as certain people remain in Congress. This is what's hurting the United States. Democrats have never played the obstructionist card but the Republicans have bought this to a whole new level, which is destroying this country. These people need to be dealt with.

His kowtowing to Republicans I think is tied to finance. This response is VERY reasonable and just doesn't sound like someone heart broken over the fact Obama won.

just tickles me for people to believe the intent in Kid Rock's heart has taken on a new beat! There is no way!!!!! I have been watching Kid rock with his confederate flags and his fake outreach to the hood. I don't know where most of the people live at on this thread but I should know. And it really was the opinion of a lot of neighborhood folk that the Detroit chapter of the NAACP was extending their hand to Kid Rock because of his subtle racist acts. There are no illusions about him here. And it really is besides the POINT!!!!!!!!!!! We all looked at the Denver Debate!! After the Debate every Boarder line Prejudice Republican sided with ROMNEY'S LYING ASS!!!!!!! They did not care that he was LYING, they ACTUALLY TOOK THE SIDE OF A LIAR!!!!!!And tried to tell us that Romney did not mean ALL of the things he said!!!!!!!! They sided with their MONEY and their PREJUDICE!!!!!! They REALLY EXPECTED US TO SIDE WITH A LIAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No Every LAST one of them that stood up on the side of this LIAR, have been LYING to themselves all this time, fooling themselves into believing that they don't have Jim Crow standards. They were willing to throw away TRUTH to win an un-winnable election.!!!!! And for that they all deserve to be banished into the Wilderness without a COMPASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People here praising the bipedal embodiment of stupidity known as Kid Rock probably haven't been exposed to him too much. He's a punk ass self-indulgent ignorant asshat who can't decide if he's a redneck or a kid from Detroit's hood. Oh, and his music sucks ass too.

I am sick and tired of acting as if the Republicans have done nothing WRONG!!!! They wanted us to look PAST the TRUTH and take the Country with Mitt Romney!!!!I love Myself, My Country, My Family, My Friends, and my Fellow Citizens to ever lie to them. I found it to be reprehensible. I just couldn't believe how they turned their love on after one debate full of LIES. Now maybe some Sane-minded republicans were in line with believing Mitt Romney but that is why they are walking zombies now!!!!! I am sorry I am still pissed-off and I don't care who knows it. They wanted the Country to Put a LIAR in charge of the NATION!!!!!!!!!The republicans may LOVE America but they can't stomach Americans!!!!! To the Wilderness with their ASS!!!!!!

Reckon this just might have something to do with the conciliatory tone of the "Kid" today. He knows it's not a good idea to alienate 47% of your potential audience, unlike Rmoney.
