(81,645 posts)Just sucked SEVERAL big ones. He was a hate-monger and hatchet-man for the far wrong.
BASTARD.
Had no hesitation about slanting the "coverage" as far as he could get away with doing. He singlehandedly and deliberately threw more shit on the whole idea of "journalism" than anyone else I can think of, and gave the entire profession a big fat black eye. That bastard was lower than lice on a snake's belly at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Selective editing of video to show someone saying things they NEVER said - the way he screwed with a Shirley Sherrod speech, tried to screw the NAACP, Mary Landrieu and other Democrats, partnering with that vile piece of shit james o'keefe who set up those phony sting operations to ruin organizations like ACORN, and shit - what he tried to do to Occupy!
I remember him yowling his way around Manhattan where Occupy Wall Street was encamped. He was trying to make a huge stink out of a story claiming that there were 17 cases of rape attributed directly to Occupy members, and was brandishing this piece of paper on which that libelous shit was written. Keith Olbermann did a whole segment on it, running down the entire list of 17, revealing via actual police reports that each and every one of those 17 cases was NOT committed by ANYONE from Occupy. There were, as I recall, two cases in which female Occupy members had been sexually assaulted, away from the Occupy compound, but by attackers who were NOT involved with Occupy. Every single damn one of those cases had NO Occupy connection whatsoever except for those two victims. NO perpetrators. NONE. Unless, of course, you believed that vile detestable lying scheming piece-of-shit FUCKER andrew breitbart.
He collapsed and died in West L.A. I think I know approximately where, but not exactly. If I did know where for sure, I'd be sorely tempted to make the drive over there and bring some dried sacred sage, and light it to perform a brief smudging ceremony to purify the area of any leftover bad spirits. Even at this late date.

(44,173 posts)She sued him after he sandbagged her, and the lawsuit continued after he died. She settled with the estate last year.
But indeed it is worse now, as their racism is more overt and they are becoming a hotbed of anti-Semitism; Breitbart was not anti-Jewish.
And the site totally threw Michelle Fields under the bus after she was manhandled by Corey Lewandowski. At that point Ben Shapiro, the Brietbart editor-in-chief decided to quit. He continues to get anti-Semitic tweets to this day.
