Here it is called apizza, a derivation of the Italian La Pizza. I am sorry, but the best pizza in the U.S. is in New Haven. No, I mean it.

We have an up and coming pizza place in the Westville section of New Haven called Dayton Street Pizza. Yes, they are challeging Sally's and Pepe's (altho Modern Pizza always have had my vote before I moved to Westville!).

But New Haven has the prize in the U.S.A!
