They're short, consistent, informative and running with no counter argument from Trump.
Excellent strategy and $ well spent.

(34,566 posts)officials were quoted saying negative things about Trump's actions. Wish I could remember it more clearly. The one reaction I had to that one was that I didn't think the average voter would understand who those officials were or care about what they had to say, even though they were identified as GOPers. Hope I'm wrong.

(9,030 posts)It was just like you describe.. short, simple, and to the point
I especially liked the part where Letterman asked him where the shirts were made, when Trump said he didn't know they flashed on the screen 'he knows where they were made' ... nice touch!!

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
