So was it worth it, Clint?

No one ever thought Clint was a liberal, but he managed to stay out of direct involvement in GOP politics and had a reputation of being a reasonable, old school style Republican who could be counted on to occasionally take a decnet stand on stuff like gay marriage.

Then all of that changed - in 2012, he decided, for the first time in his career, to get out and advocate hard for a candidate, and he chose Mitt Romney. This led to his sad appearance at the RNC, shilling for Rove's SuperPac in robocalls and TV ads and cozying up to Hannity as a FOX News celebrity.

Turns out Clint threw his reputation and dignity away for nothing. Wonder if he regrets it now.

I have no idea if he regrets it. I know I was crushed when I read he endorsed mittLies and when I heard he was going to be at their convention I worried that his famous celebrity status would sway people who didn't pay much attention to actual substance.

And, then The Chair happened.. and I laughed all night as we all did with the eastwoods trending on twitter and funny peeps on DU doing their schtick!

Then I heard he went on hannity and super pac..I was already over him.

it was a brilliant piece of publicity, as Clint needed the rightwing who was insulted by his
Super Bowl ad last year.

When you think about Clint's personal life with women, is it any surprise he and today's republicans had something in common?

Also, it proves that those libertarian types are really rightwing types, and never again should any lib eral democrat ever fall for the extremists like Ron and Rand Paul

NO they are not on our side
YeS they lied about both sides being the same

and Clint did what he did, and remember something- HE HELPED OUR SIDE ANYHOW
remember

their convention sucked for Mitt/Glove

But it made less than $35 million domestically (no foreign #'s) and was #3 in its opening week of release. I doubt it was a major hit.
