Restaurant may be violating Texas Election Code.

Texas Election Code Annotated Section 61.003 says that nobody, during a voting period, can campaign or have political signs within 100 feet of the entrance of a polling place.

In Crockett, TX, the Moosehead Cafe is on the courthouse square, and is the local Tea Party HQs. They have a bunch of small signs out in front between the sidewalk and curb, for Repub candidates, and a large Romney/Ryan sign on the front of the building. I early voted in the courthouse basement. I don't think it's 100 feet across the street to this place.

I sent an email out to the 3 TV stations in Tyler/Lufkin about this last night.

They have a lot more signs than this now. The top right of the facade, to the right of the Moosehead Cafe sign, now has a large Romney/Ryan sign on it.

They've also gotten lots of bad reviews on restaurant rating sites b/c of lots of Repub political signs in side. Somebody said they had a picture of Ann Coulter inside. That would make me toss my cookies in about 2 nanoseconds.
