When it comes down to it Republicans want the Presidency and will support Trump regardless of what type of person he is.

I wouldn't be surprised if many GOP senators voted for Clinton especially the ones still in office from her time in the senate. I bet McCain votes for her.

McCain may vote for her but I doubt he will say so publicly. I wouldn't be surprised if he also voted for Kerry in 2004.

For the same reasons no super delegates are going to flip to Bernie, she'd became a laughing stock in her party and would lose at the next election

She can actually vote for Clinton and not tell anyone... she can also vote for Clinton and say she didn't. Or she can actually say she may support Clinton and actually publicly support her.

I was reading a thread on Reddit earlier today about people claiming to support Bernie but actually voting for Clinton so they wouldn't be harassed over their vote/support.

Who knows who votes for who in the voting booth. I personally know of a few politicians who consider it bad luck to vote for themselves and thus don't vote in their race

and she wouldn't say that if she hadn't already polled how it would effect her numbers.

a Senator/congressman who does this can usually expect to be stripped of their seniority
