Anyone still for Dennis Kusinich to primary Obama?

Seeing that Dennis is such a great campaigner and can win in difficult situations, why did he not not run against Obama in the promaries? He was the guy that Repubs would have backed down from and stopped fillubusting every bill, right?

against another Democrat. Losing Democratic seats is not a good thing in my opinion, and seeing two sitting Democrats fight for a GOP drawn seat would only please the GOP, in my opinion. We had two, now one. And that pleases you? Why? In what way?
In 2008, Kunicnich was the first of the Primary opponents to hand support to the President as candidate. Of the many Democrats who seriously ran against him, Dennis pull out first. Just prior to or just after NH. How long did Chris Dodd stay in? Or the adulterous Edwards, how long did he preach on his traditional marriage dogmas?
Yeah.

The party that controls state legislatures draws the districts.

It's a good lesson in why elections and voting matters - even at the local and state level.

"Show them that we need business and don't vote!" in the last election.

The Democrats that didn't vote in the last election when the Teabaggers cams out in droves are to blame, as it played DIRECTLY into the Koch brothers agenda of taking over state legslatures just in time to re-draw the congressional district maps.

Democrats get to re-district Republicans out of existence when they control the means to do so, that is the wasy the game is played.

Oh, and the reasons Dennis pulled out when he did was that he was:

A. Completely out of money for a presidential campaign.

B. In real trouble back home in the race for his congressional seat, as his opponent was rapidly gaining ground on him. If Kucinich let the trend lines continue, he would have lost the election but for an emergency appeal to donors which funded a last-minute media blitz. Most of that money had to come from out of Kucininch' district, as his constituents were not really happy that Dennis was ignoring them, and that reality was reflected by a dearth of donations from them.

Besides, he would've gotten totally stomped by THE SITTING PRESIDENT and he knows it.

I am hoping that once unencumbered by constituents he has to represent and a party he has to try to work with (not saying he will not still be a Democrat, just not having to work so closely in the House) he becomes something far more than what he has been able to do in office or could do in a political office. I can't imagine he will go quietly away. You may wish he was still in the House.

Keep pushing buttons there dennis4868, most of us know the deal and the deal is we were with Dennis in a big way for his ideas, they are still there. Hopefully we will now hear more of them.

Well, you can't please all the people.....

When I hear claims like yours, I immediately think of the foolish claims espoused by his opponents on the right. They're equally ridiculous. The good news is you're in a very distinct minority.

After that, I think he should stick around Washington for about 4 months to help the new freshmen Democratic representatives settle in to their jobs and act in the role as a mentor to them.
And then hang around Washington to stay involved in the process.

I also think that he should move to the nearest Republican dominated district to his old district before the end of 2013, and then run for office again in 2014.
