Mike Malloy is pessimistic about the election...agree or disagree?

This is from the Oct. 29 show. Basically his point is that racism and Republican obstructionism is to blame for people reluctant to re-elect Obama. As a result a lot of listeners have emailed him in disagreement. But Malloy says that it's naive to think Obama will win. Given the late night slot (9pm-midnight ET) of his show it's understandable why he's so skeptical.

3. I find Thom Hartman the same kind of liberal

Hartman, for weeks, has had an alarmist tone about how the Ohio voting machines had already chosen the winner in their state. I had to stop listening to him because he was such a downer and pessimistic about Obama's chances of winning and filling me with paranoia and dread.

I think there are just some libs that will never be optimistic because it's like jinxing themselves

Been listening to Randi Rhodes, instead. I know other liberals like that, too. I have been trying to avoid them, as well. Just can't deal with them right now. The Obama has 300 lawyers in Ohio, alone. I don't think they're going to get away with another theft there.

13. Doesn't mean Thom doesn't have valid points re voting machines.

Jump to 9:00 in this video (the first 9 mins were about the 2012 Wisconsin recall) and Thom points out that Ireland sold EVM's for scrap.

15. I realize that but that was his subject matter for days

And there never seemed like any solution. So many times a pundit tells us frightening alarming news with no solution. What are we supposed to do? We vote, we can get out the vote, we can donate money to hopefully pay for lawyers to help with voting fraud. I don't want to hear daily how the voting machines are compromised with no suggestion of how to resolve it. Tell me what you know the Obama admin is doing. Tell me if the feds are doing anything. Tell me what to do to hopefully make a difference - but he wasn't doing it. Just alarming the shit out of me that Ohio was already lost, and this was weeks ago! So I stopped listening and am listening to Martin Bashir in the car instead of Thom.

I think it's going to go. Truly, I have no idea. Tuesday is going to be a nail biter for me, and my stomach just did another flip again thinking about it.

14. So much vitriol he gives the right wingers reasons to hate us, sadly.

There's a blog out there called "Radio Equalizer" that highlights just that. As much as I enjoy listening to his show I worry if he's only contributing to the polarization of modern politics.

I think I have heard the name but other than that, I don't know who this person is. Why should I care what he thinks?

11. OP of this post has aggressively wanted Obama t lose for four years

So, I wouldn't take this displacement on to a third party too seriously. alp227 just wanted to be able to say "it's naive to think Obama will win" without having it stick to alp227. However he went about hat is just another lame variation on his usual bullshit theme.

BTW, I just filled in my ballot for Mr. Obama. And if I ever did post Obama bashing threads that was during 2009, 2010, 2011 before the Election Season Unity Policy.

Yes, shenanigans could well happen, but I don't think it will be close enough to steal.
