David Plouffe Lays Some Smack On Karl Rove

infernoman wrote on Nov 04, 2012 20:39:36 #
I agree with Plouffe here....Karl Rove, co-founder of the American Crossroads SuperPAC, is gonna have some 'splaining to do:

"""
“I think Karl Rove might have said that because a few days ago he predicted a big Romney win,” said White House senior adviser David Plouffe, appearing Sunday on ABC’s “This Week.” “And my sense is Karl is going to be at a crossroads himself on Tuesday when he tries to explain to the people who wrote him hundreds of millions of dollars why they fell short.”

ALL that billionaire money .... ALL that hubris and callousness .... All that ME FIRST, Laissez Faire, Ayn Randian, plutocratic mumbo jumbo ....

All of that; crashes and burns .. a monumental failure .... In fact; it might be said to have accelerated and increased the depth of GOP antipathy, with downticket races in play which we not considered early on ....

The Whole ALEC, American Crossroads, et al, juggernaut; Spent their billion and still came up short .....

This is a huge repudiation of the whole affair ....

Let that sink in for a while ..... Big money lost ....

But I am glad that we have some patrons with deep pockets. Having a ton of dough and a social conscience need not be mutually exclusive.

Joe Kennedy told his kids "The rich will always be able to take care of themselves. It's the rest of the people who need a hand."

it isnt much, but it was far more than I offered in any other campaign .... The Obama organization used new media brilliantly in order to reach voters like me .... I think many many other Liberal voters appreciated how the campaign was able to speak to us directly, and make it easy to support the President through small donations .... I was more than happy to be one of those who took advantage of this technology to give support that we could actually afford as working mothers and fathers ....

Nice quote from ole Joe ....

$100 million in donations and he'll still be investigated and possibly charged by the Justice Department.
