Hillary's VP options look bleak except for Elizabeth Warren, but Warren doesn't want the job.

1. That is some serious LIV stuff there.

Most Clinton supporters have said they don't want Warren on the ticket because of her importance in the senate. Most Sanders supporters have said the same.

Now they are saying Clintons VP options look bleak because it isn't going to be Warren. The stupid just fucking bernz.

"Outside of Warren, Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro gets the most buzz, but he's laughably unqualified."

But Warren is the most qualified ever and is the only real option no one can come close she is just all there is left in the world for Clinton I can't believe how amazing Warren is and the rest of you suck did I tell you she is God like and the only option but she doesn't want it no one has ever been more qualified or as amazing!!!!!

Could be one of the worst articles I have read outside of Goodman.

2. getting tired ot this Warren/Sanders as VP crap

neither one will take the job and shouldn't. If Clinton pulls this off we will need both of them in the Senate (even more than we do now) to keep her under control and continue to push the Progressive/Liberal agenda. Clinton in the WH sure as hell won't.

VP is pretty much obligated to do what ever the Prez tells them to do. I can't see either Sanders or Warren bending that far over.

so, cut it out...

6. Well there IS the possibility of criminal charges and impeachment arising from the FBI investigation

But I'm sure TPTB are afraid of that possibility and for that reason would never allow Clinton to put either Sanders or Warren on the ticket.

13. good point -

hopefully neither would take that dead end job unless they were pretty sure she would be impeached.

14. Once signed, trade deals take the national/state/etc. government out of the decisionmaking picture.

To cover that up, if people are too stupid to realize it, governments have to pretend to disagree.

Otherwise, people would be wondering why they never got anything fixed.

3. "...but Warren doesn't want the job" does not appear in the article body or title?

That's a wee bit deceptive, don't you think?

4. Sherrod Brown - (not that I care who she appoints) but, strategically, he would be her best bet.

5. what nitwit would put his/her career up.......

.....for a partnership with someone under FBI investigation?

The only incentive might be that when she is indicted or impeached or forced out, you might move up into the top slot. But you would still be tainted forever, by association.

8. If she saw impeachment/removal coming she would get rid of a popular VP

Remember, Nixon threw Agnew under the bus in a vain attempt to silence those who wanted the president out.

10. interesting dilemma, then

she needs a popular VP to win, but can't allow one should she be facing impeachment.

12. Agnew had his own scandals to deal with at the time

Bribery and tax evasion, IIRC, and resigned nearly a year before Nixon did. As we said at the time "but he kept himself out of Watergate".

9. Obtuse headline--MA has a GOP governor who will appoint a GOP senator

if she doesn't finish out her term. After 160 days that character will be entrenched. It wouldn't surprise me if Baker appointed HIMSELF.

THAT is why E Warren is a non-starter.

I am amazed that people write articles when they plainly don't know a thing about state politics.

This is not worth reading because it's full of premises that are bone-headed.

11. She could try looking west of the Mississippi

If she wants a senator, Merkley from Oregon or Cantwell from Washington aren't up for re-election this year. There must be other people in statehouses who would be reasonable aside from the usual suspects.

I blame DWS for not giving a lot of visibility to more up-and-comers,
